175 Years of Perfection
Our bakery was built on the American Dream. In 1845 Frankenmuth was founded by a small band of German immigrants. Besides a hearty appetite for chicken, beer, and hard work, they brought their pretzel recipe. Since then our family has regularly made pretzels through the generations for one hundred seventy-five years. Eventually, even strangers began asking us to make pretzels and we started a business to keep up with the orders!
Our pretzels are quite different from the machine-made ones, even other homemade pretzels. Machine-made pretzels are dry full of cheap ingredients and taste bad. We don't cut corners with our authentic Bavarian recipe. We bake our pretzels right before your order is fulfilled to ensure freshness. Our products are made and sourced in America by area farmers. Throughout the year we support various charities, continue to grow as a small business, and evaluate new product ideas. We appreciate your support and would love feedback!
